Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One (SPOILERS)

Didn't see a thread for this, yet. Anyway, new Valkyrie Profile game on DS. Here's all the info I have on it so far:

Square Enix has announced in this week's issue of Jump magazine that they are to release Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One for the Nintendo DS.
First details are coming in saying that Tri-Ace are the team that's developing it, which means this might be the "unannounced" title we've seen on their promotional DVD. It is being designed by Kou Yoshinari and You Yoshinari. More info:

· You don't play as a Valkyrie, you don't even play as a female.
· The main character is a young soldier with silver hair who hates the Valkyries from past experience.
· He is determined to fight against the gods using the "feather that leads to victory" given to him by Heru from the underworld.
· Everytime he uses the power of the wing, it turns darker.
· Ansel is close friend of Wilfred.
· Elise is a mysterious girl from the underworld that seeks to help Wilfred.
· The game doesn't look like it's in Profile, it's isometric instead.
· The theme of the game is "Vengence on the Gods".

Anyways, looks good but there's really only art to go off of at this point. Looking forward to see how this develops!

I'm glad Hel is involved in the story. I've been wanting to see more of her since she was mentioned once or twice in VP1.

I am really excited about this! It seems like a smart move to me. They put a side-story of some sort out on a handheld system before moving onwards with the games primary story with a "Hrist" game. At least... that's what I would do if I were them. The male character is also a nice change, since we've played two total opposites on the spectrum of female characters--Lenneth and Alicia.

I was thinking that from the heavy involvement of Hel in the plot and the whole "rebellion from the gods" thing, it may just be the missing plot points from before VP2 that we wanted to see involving the VP2 einherjar whom we got to know little about, Silmeria, and Brahms. However, I see Lenneth there and not Silmeria. Uh... Lenneth is our time-traveling stalker-chaser though, and they would put her in the hype pics even if she was just a bonus battle character, you know. XDD There's no telling. It could take place at any point in time for all I know. =/

Hopefully Lezard doesn't pull a TIME PARADOX on us this time. XD That would just be redundant!

We can't name a game under the vp name if is not like the original vp.

Heh...at this point, it seems VP's trying to go all "Rogue Agent" on us.

And by that thought, even though it's VP and I have a DS, I might just pass.

Because ... we all sense a commercial things...

I just plan to buy a ds for this game... but... not the game i will d/l the iso.. and ...yes if the game fit with my criteria then i will buy it.

But im not for a ds release of vp.
Plus , i can't see this saga in isometrics , that's don't fit at all with.

Yeah, I thought it was weird that it wasn't 2D again. They went through such trouble to keep it that way in VP2 despite it looking a little silly how you can't go any deeper into the towns and such.

Here I am. To flood your mind with totally impossible theories. XD

On second thought. The guy's friend looks an awful lot like Lucian, too! Maybe it is a former incarnation of Lucian the way Arngrim was a former incarnation of himself. XD Then Lenneth and Lucian's relationship could be more meaningful.

Maybe it is post-VP2, in a time frame where Lenneth is the only valkyrie still subservient to the gods. Lenneth could be serving Freya and not Odin or er... that other guy.
